We won a Wick Award!

We’re thrilled to announce that Looply has won the Wick Award!

This incredible recognition empowers community-driven projects, and with support from the Local Trust and The National Lottery Community Fund, it’s helping us take our mission to the next level by hosting monthly workshops in East London.

Our workshops are all about bringing people together to tackle sustainability challenges head-on. We invite locals to collect their soft plastics before attending, fostering greater involvement and interaction within the project. During the workshops, participants learn about accessible upcycling tools, methods, and sustainable practices they can easily implement at home.

At Looply, we focus on two key objectives:

1. Encouraging hands-on creative practices: We believe that working with your hands is a powerful way to solve problems and spark innovation.

2. Building social connections: Bringing people together to share ideas and experiences is essential for developing meaningful, sustainable solutions.

Winning the Wick Award is not just a victory for Looply but for the entire community as we work together to create a more sustainable future. We’re excited to continue these workshops, deepening our impact and inspiring others to join the circular economy movement.
