Looply at the Victoria and Albert Museum: A Milestone Moment
We’re thrilled to share an incredible milestone in Looply’s journey—our invitation to showcase at the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum! It was an honor to participate in the Upstart festival, a vibrant space where aspiring designers come together to connect with professionals from various creative disciplines.
The Upstart festival is not just about conversations; it's about action, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving. That’s why we hosted an interactive pop-up and demo station, giving attendees the opportunity to craft their own folders from everyday single-use plastics. The experience was more than just a fun activity; it was a powerful demonstration of how sustainability can be woven into the fabric of design, starting from the materials we often overlook.
Engaging with so many young, aspiring designers was a true pleasure. Sharing our journey as both a designers and the founder of a creative business like Looply was incredibly rewarding. I hope that our presence at the festival inspired others to see the potential in upcycling and the importance of sustainability in design.
Looply’s mission is to make sustainable practices accessible and engaging, and being able to share this at the Victoria and Albert Museum is a testament to the impact we’re striving to make. Here’s to more milestones and inspiring the next generation of designers!
